Title: Continuous Improvement & Training Lead, Distribution Center
Location: Boston Heights, OH
Description:
The Continuous Improvement and Training Lead supports the design, development, and facilitation of training and education initiatives at the Arhaus Distribution Center in Boston Heights, OH. This role focuses on implementing programs that enhance the employee experience (i.e., onboarding preparation, recognition program, internal communications). Supporting our supply chain operations teams in logistics, the corporate distribution center, transportation, and inventory associates and leaders alike.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Key fundamental skill sets for this role will be:
- Lead training and employee development initiatives aimed to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and engagement, ensuring that initiatives align with Arhaus goals.
- Leading orientation presentations, tours, safety trainings, and other first-day experiences for new hires within the Distribution Center.
- Partner with the team to execute a best-in-class Onboarding and Safety Program.
- Lead content creation, including training, new deployments, and ad hoc department-related projects.
- Supports the rollout and integration of the Arhaus Logistics Vision, Values, and Beliefs program across all Supply Chain functions.
- Support and enforce Arhaus culture and policies toward continuous improvement, customer service, and fiscal initiatives.
- Create world-class presentations and training that are dynamic, engaging, and support our overall department vision.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in progressive leadership experience within a Distribution Center
- Experience creating digital and print content for training and education materials
- Experience with people development leadership projects
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve with minimal supervision
- Ability to interact with individuals at all professional levels
- Excellent training, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to plan and manage effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.),
- Familiarity with ERP, SAP products
- Preferred: Experience with Canva design tools and understanding of branding and brand continuity
- Preferred: bilingual English/Spanish
