Part Time Transport Nurse Needed - School-Based Assignment

Location: Wareham, MA

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Ongoing

Hours: Split Shift (Monday-Friday)

• Morning Transport: 7:15 AM - 8:50 AM

• Afternoon Transport: 2:15 PM - 4:15 PM

Compensation:

• LPN: $43/hr

• RN: $53/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a student requiring medical monitoring during transportation to and from school. This is a contracted, school-based role with a consistent weekday schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Accompany 2 students during transportation to and from school

• Provide continuous monitoring and medical support during transit

• Manage and monitor feeding tube needs and seizure precaution

• Ensure students' safety and respond appropriately to any health-related concerns

• Communicate effectively with caregivers, school staff, and healthcare teams as needed

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN or LPN license

• Prior experience with feeding tubes (required)

• Strong clinical observation and patient care skills

• Ability to work independently in a transportation setting

• Reliable and consistent availability for split shift schedule
