As a Hospitalist specializing in Internal Medicine, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining the smooth operation of healthcare facilities. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide medical care to hospitalized patients, including managing and coordinating treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform medical procedures as necessary and in accordance with professional standards.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
• Stay updated on medical advancements, guidelines, and best practices in Internal Medicine.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine.
• Active state medical license and DEA registration.
• Demonstrated experience working as a Hospitalist in acute care settings.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle complex medical cases.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and healthcare software.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Schedule: 7p-7a, specific dates

Will handle codes

Open ICU at night

Anesthesia covers intubations

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
