Lead Baker

Pink Bean Coffee is a locally loved café known for our scratch-made baked goods, quality coffee, and welcoming community vibe. We’re looking for a Lead Baker to take charge of our bakery program—someone passionate about artisan breads, pastries, and creative seasonal items that pair perfectly with great coffee.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily baking operations, including prep, production, and finishing.
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods.
• Develop new recipes and seasonal menu offerings in collaboration with ownership.
• Manage ingredient inventory, ordering, and cost control.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
• Lead, train, and support a small team of bakers and prep staff.
• Monitor baking schedules and adjust as needed for production demands.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional baking experience (at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role preferred).
• Strong knowledge of doughs, laminated pastries, quick breads, and breakfast pastries.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• A creative eye for presentation and a genuine love of baking.
• Ability to work independently and manage a small team in a fast-paced environment.
• Early riser—shifts typically start between 4:00–6:00 AM.
