ABOUT THE POSITION
This part-time role provides culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapy to individuals and families facing mental health challenges. The Outpatient Clinician conducts assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, delivers strengths-based care, participates in clinical team meetings, consults with other professionals, facilitates referrals to specialists, maintains timely/accurate documentation, and engages in ongoing professional development to advance CSR’s mission of effective, equitable mental health care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assess client needs and formulate diagnoses/clinical impressions; develop individualized, measurable treatment plans.
• Provide individual and family therapy using strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches.
• Participate in clinical team meetings to discuss treatment strategies and coordinate care.
• Provide consultation to and collaborate with schools, medical providers, and community partners.
• Facilitate referrals to internal/external specialists; ensure warm handoffs and follow-up.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation consistent with insurer and agency standards.
• Engage in required trainings, supervision, and mandatory meetings; pursue ongoing professional development.
• Uphold confidentiality, HIPAA, and professional/ethical standards.

REQUIREMENTS
Must-Haves
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• 2+ years of experience providing behavioral health services to youth, adults, and/or families.
• Massachusetts CBHI CANS certification (current or ability to obtain prior to start, per program policy).
• Bilingual: Spanish and Haitian Creole (required).
• Strong clinical formulation, documentation, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively.
