Looking for two new crew members for WorthWild Woodshop / General Contracting. We have built our reputation over the last 25 years on highest quality custom work. We have a great client base who call us for custom shop quality projects, either built in our in-house woodshop or built onsite. All of our work is billed on a time and materials basis which creates a progressive work environment that allows projects to be designed and built to the highest standards and have the flexibility to deal with challenges as they arise.

Our work culture is one of organized methodical work environments, with an emphasis on positivity and brotherhood among the crew. Each member of the crew have their own unique set of skills and experiences. A crew needs all types of workers. My goal is to create job scopes that pair each project with the most appropriate employee and find ways of providing the right amount of materials, tools, and plans to each jobsite to maintain a smooth work flow!

Our Woodshop is on my property in Wakefield Ma. Our clients are in the greater Boston Area, with many current clients in Cambridge, North Andover, North Reading areas. This of course changes with time. Right now we are half way through a very special project on a private island off Cape Cod. It will resume work in the fall and run for about four months. We are renovating a 150 yr old hayloft into a modern condo! It is a gorgeous spot with a project spanning a wraparound mahogany deck and pergola and complete cedar shingle job outside to a custom kitchen built onsite with custom built-ins, custom doors, all new windows and skylights, and tiled bathroom. We have a cottage in the local boatyard on the island for the crew to stay. On our first trip down to the island, each crew member had a unique work schedule to match their unique home lives. We are very flexible with this job as it is a distant job and deserves special consideration. During the time working on the island each crew member will receive a $10/hr raise, with a two hour paid travel bonus for each trip made to or from the island! We worked typically a 50-60 hour week with overtime pay. The added income offsets the disruption to family life, as well as secret beauty of Naushon Island and the beautifully designed project that has been the result of years of planning, a team or architects, a structural engineer, and in-house pencil drawn scaled drawings mid project!
