Job Summary:

Neighborgood Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA or HHA to join our team of caring professionals in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Assist clients with medication management and other medical needs as necessary

• Prepare meals and snacks, and encourage healthy eating habits

• Engage clients in activities and outings, promoting socialization and mental stimulation

• Maintain accurate records of client care and progress

• Collaborate with other care team members to develop and implement personalized care plans

• Advocate for clients' rights and interests, ensuring their voices are heard and respected

Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a healthcare field preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform tasks that require physical exertion with assistance.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

• Must have experience with Foley Catheters, Transfers and Personal Care

Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: Part-time, overnight shifts available.
Location: Marblehead, MA.
