Assembler
Job Description
The Assembler plays a key role in building plumbing products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will use hand and power tools to assemble components, inspect parts for quality, and work closely with a team to meet daily production goals. Responsibilities
- Assemble plumbing products using hand and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, impact tools, and similar equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions, assembly procedures, and production processes accurately to ensure consistent product quality.
- Inspect parts and finished products for defects, verify proper assembly, and ensure all items meet quality standards.
- Work on an assembly line or at individual workbench stations, depending on production needs.
- Rotate between different assembly stations approximately every hour to maintain engagement and reduce repetitive strain.
- Handle parts, components, and basic mechanical processes with care to reduce training time and improve overall quality.
- Support lean manufacturing practices by maintaining organized work areas and following standardized processes.
- Monitor production schedules and work efficiently to help the team meet daily production and output goals.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to maintain a strong sense of teamwork and support.
- Maintain reliable attendance to keep production lines running smoothly and meet customer demand.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of assembly issues and escalate concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines, use company-provided personal protective equipment, and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Perform repetitive motions, stand for most of the shift, and lift up to 35 pounds as required by the job.
- Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working with parts, components, and basic mechanical processes.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, impact tools, and similar equipment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly procedures, and production processes accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, including the ability to recognize defects and verify proper assembly.
- Reliable attendance and dependability to support continuous production operations.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and quality inspection activities.
- Ability to multitask between assembly stations and rotate job functions effectively.
- Experience working with production metrics and meeting production goals.

- 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
- Experience in assembly, production, warehouse, machine operation, construction, or other hands-on roles.
- Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with both automated and manual equipment.
- Exposure to assembly line work and lean manufacturing practices.
- Experience with machine operating, troubleshooting basic machinery issues, and working from blueprints or diagrams.
- Familiarity with inventory processes and production schedules.
- Previous experience rotating between different job functions or stations.
- Ability to collaborate closely with others in a team-based environment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility that is not temperature controlled, so temperatures will vary with the seasons. Employees work in a machine shop environment that includes both automated and manual equipment. Assemblers may be assigned to a production assembly line or to individual workbench stations, depending on production needs. To keep work engaging and reduce repetitive strain, employees typically rotate between different stations approximately every hour throughout the shift. The culture is team-oriented and welcoming, with employees working closely together, supporting one another, and maintaining production goals as a group. Site observations show an engaged, collaborative, and positive workforce that creates a close-knit environment for new team members. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, performing repetitive motions, and lifting up to 35 pounds. The facility includes a large, clean cafeteria, free coffee, refrigerators for employee lunches, and vending machines for additional convenience. Company-provided personal protective equipment is supplied for all required tasks.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Braintree, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
