Treatment Coordinator - Oral Surgery (Watertown)
Full-time | Monday–Friday
Based in Burlington with travel to Cambridge as needed
This is an in‑office position (not remote or hybrid) About the Opportunity At Oral & Facial Surgery Centers of Massachusetts, our patients always come first. Our board‑certified oral surgeons use advanced technology and modern surgical techniques to create a comfortable, supportive experience for every patient. From the moment patients walk through our doors, they are cared for by a warm, welcoming team focused on clear communication, compassion, and trust. We are seeking a Treatment Coordinator to serve as a key patient‑facing team member, helping guide patients through their treatment journey with confidence and clarity. This role is ideal for someone with prior dental or oral surgery experience who enjoys patient education, treatment planning, and financial coordination, and who takes pride in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Role and Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for patients throughout the treatment planning processUnderstand doctor treatment recommendations and develop accurate treatment plans from diagnosisClearly and compassionately explain treatment options, procedures, and associated costs to patientsPrepare and present cost estimates and collect patient financial responsibility in a professional mannerMaintain and update patient insurance information accuratelyCoordinate communication with patients and referring offices as needed to support care continuityPartner closely with the clinical team to ensure a smooth, positive patient experienceAdhere to deadlines and prioritize responsibilities in alignment with the patient scheduleAnswer patient questions and provide reassurance using a concierge‑level approachMaintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAAPerform other related duties as assigned to support practice operations Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of one year of customer service experience required Previous dental or oral surgery experience required Skills and Abilities Strong understanding of dental and oral surgery terminologyFriendly, professional, and patient‑focused demeanorExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to explain complex information clearly and compassionatelyEffective problem‑solving and ability to work independentlyAbility to collaborate cross‑functionally with clinical and administrative team members What We Offer Competitive pay, Bonus potential, and annual merit reviewsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) with HDHP health plansPTO, Sick Time, Paid Holidays, Paid Parental LeaveShort‑ and Long‑Term Disability401(k) Plan with Company MatchEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)FIGS Uniforms/Scrubs provided Oral & Facial Surgery Centers of Massachusetts is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
