Senior Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Engineer for a Contract with a client in Waltham, MA. The candidate will manage and support Azure AD, AADC, and ADFS environments to ensure secure, reliable identity and synchronization operations.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Manage Azure AD Connect operations, including synchronization policies, sync rule updates, and troubleshooting sync‑related issues.

• Administer ADFS environments by configuring relying parties, updating certificates, restoring services, and supporting DR planning.

• Oversee on‑prem Active Directory tasks such as group policy troubleshooting, replication checks, and OU structure management.

• Perform Azure AD administration, including enterprise application registration, SSO provisioning/de‑provisioning, and client secret updates.

• Monitor AAD Connect Health and Office 365 Admin Center alerts, taking corrective actions to maintain stable directory services.

• Provide directory synchronization and SSO consulting support while preparing required AAD information for audits and security reviews.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 6–8+ years of hands‑on experience in Azure AD, AADC, ADFS, and identity management operations.

• Strong proficiency in Azure AD Connect, synchronization policies, SSO administration, and enterprise identity governance.

• Ability to troubleshoot AD/ADFS issues, manage certificates, support DR planning, and provide AAD‑related audit information accurately.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
