Marine-Mechanical Engineer

Summary
We are seeking a Marine-Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the United States. This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver top-tier engineering solutions for naval and maritime projects. Based at our headquarters or regional offices, you will contribute to designing, analyzing, and supporting complex marine systems that meet rigorous standards.
Responsibilities
- Recent experience and knowledge of the engineering or design aspects of the ship modernization process including ship surveys, design, material requirements, specifications, and material procurement sources.
- Design drawing development, material/parts specifications, HVAC and fluid mechanics engineering calculations, engineering reports and feasibility studies.
- Perform shipboard surveys.
- Interface with customers and vendors.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
- Mechanical design and engineering for marine vessels
- Knowledge of Maritime Regulations (ABS, NAVSEA, MIL, USCG, etc.)
- Shipyard experience in trades or design.
- US Naval vessel design, desired
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite required
- Experience in Mathcad, PipeFlo or other engineering and design software
- Experience in Microsoft Inventor and/or Solidworks a plus
Work conditions are as follows:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering or higher Licenses/Certifications: Please provide any applicable training certificates
- Travel: Some travel may be required within the
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Clearance: Ability to obtain SECRET security clearance
