We are seeking an energetic, personable, and hardworking individual to fill a part-time, seasonal position in our Somerville-based Operations Department. The position is available now. We are looking for a commitment through and including September 1, 2026.

The candidate will support the company’s Leasing Administration and Property Management groups, working in a team-based, collaborative, office environment. The candidate will also work autonomously in the field, developing sales, critical thinking, and customer-relations skills. Many seasonal employees have gone on to become full-time salaried employees and three of the firm’s six Somerville-based partners began in very similar roles.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

· Fielding calls and responding to emails from prospective and existing customers.

· Scheduling and showing vacant and occupied residential apartments.

· Processing rental applications.

· Assisting third party rental agents.

· Creating virtual tours of apartments.

· Creating/testing/managing rental keys.

· Creating Maintenance work orders.

· Generally assisting the company’s Leasing Administration and Property Management groups.

No prior experience is required but each candidate must meet the following basic criteria:

· Have access to a reliable car.

· Have a reliable smart phone capable of phone, text, photos, emails.

· Live relatively close to the Somerville area (within 40 minutes from the RCG office).

The schedule is: Tue-Fri 11:00am-5:30pm, Sat 10:00am-2:00pm, Sun/Mon off.

Any time off requests or scheduling conflicts should be submitted in advance along with your cover letter and resume.

The candidate will be paid $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience), $25/month for cell phone reimbursement, and partial reimbursement for auto mileage used while working (not commuting to and from work each day). The candidate will be required to take an unpaid ½ hour break each day they work at least 6 hours.
