Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a remote senior IT Cloud Security Analyst to join a global consulting firm. This IT Cloud Security Analyst will be focused on container security and workload protection.

You would work in the Enterprise Security Services (ESS) team within the organizations Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) team. As part of the ESS team, you will work for Cloud security providing visibility into the security across the entire cloud native technology stack within the organization. The position will require in-depth working knowledge of securing cloud environments following industry standards and best practices.

Primary day to day responsibilities:

-Conduct thorough assessments of existing security measures in containerized environments and provide recommendations for enhancement

-Validate the effectiveness of workload protection strategies in container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker

-Review and analyze vulnerability assessments of container workloads, suggesting appropriate mitigation strategies

-Drive remediation for the identified vulnerabilities by working along with different stakeholders which includes cloud developers, cloud architects, security architects etc.

Compensation:

$13/hr to $17/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

-Robust technical and implementation knowledge of Prisma Cloud (Twistlock)

-Deep knowledge of container security best practices and solutions

-Proficiency in evaluating vulnerability scanning tools for container images and registries

-Strong understanding of the security aspects of container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes and Docker

-Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST).

-Experience in advising on or assessing security measures in cloud and containerized environments

-Cloud experience and understanding of cloud security & compliance standards - AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP w.r.t installation, configuration, and administration of cloud security features and services

-Experienced in securing cloud environments and cloud systems, including topics around certification and compliance

-Sound knowledge of ITIL framework and practices

-Working knowledge of Scrum / Agile Methodologies

-Working experience of IT Service Management, Incident Management

-Experience of working in a virtual team within a globally distributed company with numerous cultures

-Experience with ServiceNow (ITSM) - Incident Management & Service Management -Proficiency with Jira (Sprints), Confluence (Documentation)

-Security certifications - CCSK, CCSP or AWS/Azure Security Specialist

-Relevant certifications, such as Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

-Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), preferably in the field of Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information & Technology
