Automotive Technician/Mechanic
Experienced automotive technician/mechanic wanted.
Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Diagnosis:
- Examine vehicles to identify issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, steering, and suspension.
- Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment and follow checklists to pinpoint problems.

Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Replace worn-out parts like brake pads, sensors, and wheel bearings.
- Conduct repairs according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.

Communication:
- Clearly explain vehicle issues and recommended repairs to service advisors and customers.
- Document all work performed and any recommended additional services on the repair order.

Quality Assurance:
- Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are complete and to check for further issues.
- Road test vehicles for quality control after work is performed.

Shop Management:
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate tools and equipment safely.
- Comply with federal and state regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.

Technical Aptitude:
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, knowledge of vehicle systems, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Excellent communication skills to explain complex issues to customers and maintain a positive attitude.

Requires hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for working in various postures and potentially confined spaces.

Computer Skills:
Ability to use diagnostic equipment, tablets, laptops, and vehicle management software.
