Role Snapshot
As the Service Dispatch Coordinator, you are the nerve center of our field operation—prioritizing requests, routing technicians, and keeping clean, accurate records. If you thrive in fast-moving environments, love helping customers, and keep details buttoned up, this role is for you.
A Day in This Role
- Field inbound calls and respond to customer questions and service needs.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to customer sites and service appointments.
- Build, coordinate, and adjust daily calendars to meet changing priorities.
- Leverage phone systems and service software to manage jobs and share updates.
- Enter and maintain accurate records, notes, and documentation for every job.
- Communicate clearly with customers, technicians, and internal teams to keep work flowing.
- Support the overall productivity of the service department.
What You Bring
- Experience as a dispatcher or in a scheduling/coordination role (preferred).
- Background in home services—HVAC, plumbing, or electrical—is a plus.
- Comfort with computers and data entry; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay effective in a high call-volume setting.
- Strong attention to detail with solid problem-solving skills.
- Customer-first mindset and steady under pressure.
