Premium Auditor (Hybrid)

: We currently have an opportunity for a Premium Auditor to join our Operations team in our Canton, MA office. This job is responsible for determining and reporting the complex exposure bases for generation of premium earned under various individual commercial insurance contracts and to document the company's entitlement to such earned premium. Responsibilities:

• Performs audits of any size, complexity, sensitivity and type. Conducts the audit process through efficiently and accurately reviewing insured's records of varying complexity and sensitivity and by asking appropriate questions during the audit process.
• Ensures timely and confidential notification of premium audit results to appropriate parties. Ensures development of true earned premium through proper classification and identification of audit exposures.
• Works to consistently exceed expectations of internal and external customers and the best interests of the company by maintaining working relationships. Provides classification assistance to agents, underwriters and insureds for more complex classification questions and issues.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated proficiency with computer software including current Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and other data entry applications and programs.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting records and methods.
• Strong knowledge of manual rates, classification guidelines, and insurance contract structure.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Work towards a professional designation such as an APA is desirable.
