Pay Rate: $75 - $86 per hour

Shift Details

• Shift: Day/Evening
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Hours: 10-hour shifts (9:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Call Requirement: No call for the first contract
• Weekend Requirement:
  • No weekends during the first contract
  • One weekend shift with 8 hours of backup call during the second contract

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social)
• Develop and communicate care plans with interdisciplinary teams
• Assist in coordinating daily Operating Room activities
• Supervise and support ancillary staff
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily OR operations with Nurse Manager and Anesthesia team
• Support staff supervision and maintain a safe patient care environment
• Assist with staff development and training initiatives
• Manage surgical supplies, equipment, and materials
• Oversee medication inventory systems (e.g., automated dispensing systems)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
