Position Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates for open positions. This role partners with hiring managers and clients to understand hiring needs, develop recruiting strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience while meeting hiring goals.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from requisition intake to candidate placement.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Screen resumes and conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
- Evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate interview processes.
- Conduct reference checks and facilitate offer negotiations.
Candidate Management
- Build and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates.
- Develop strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates.
- Maintain candidate records and activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Hiring Manager & Client Partnership
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Develop and post job descriptions and advertisements.
- Provide market insights regarding talent availability, salary trends, and hiring strategies.
- Ensure hiring managers receive qualified candidates in a timely manner.
Recruiting Operations
- Maintain accurate recruiting metrics and reports.
- Track progress against hiring goals and performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and hiring procedures.
- Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or human resources experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using ATS, recruiting platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
