It is a dynamic and flexible workplace where you'll belong and be encouraged. **Who are we looking for?** In this Principal Technical Program Management role, you will be working across a multi-functional team that understands our business and its objectives, to lead us through planning and designing technical solutions to solve the business's problems in a very agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. The position relies heavily on influence rather than authority to drive projects. You will define project scopes, plan and direct schedules while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; handle risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects. You will monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. You will assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. You will collaborate closely with partners in program and product management to understand our customers and build the right solutions and products that makes their needs and businesses complete. You should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and notable experience collaborating in hybrid teams. You are a self-starter technical leader with a shown ability to implement both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new projects. You have strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building. You should be customer-focused with a passion for the cloud. You will partner closely with peers, developers, and customers to create solutions, while simultaneously evolving existing capabilities. **Role Summary** In this IC4 Technical Program Management role, you will drive Oracle Health's **Big Rocks program** - the highest-priority, cross-functional initiatives with direct SVP and executive visibility. You will bring clarity, predictability, and disciplined execution across engineering, PM, UX, and operations. You will also work closely with the **UX leadership team** to strengthen the integration of UX design and user experience quality into the planning and delivery lifecycle. This role elevates experience-led development across engineering teams. This position requires exceptional cross-functional leadership, executive communication, and the ability to influence without authority. **Job Responsibilities** + **Lead the Big Rocks program** , driving execution of the top organizational priorities with direct executive visibility. + **Establish structure, milestones, and operating rhythms** to ensure predictable delivery, clear ownership, and rapid issue resolution across teams. + **Deliver executive-ready status, risks, insights, and trade-off recommendations** to support fast, high-quality decision-making. + **Partner closely with UX leadership** to integrate UX design, research, and usability considerations early in the planning process. + **Ensure alignment between UX, PM, and engineering** , bringing experience quality into scope, sequencing, and acceptance criteria. + **Facilitate cross-functional collaboration** and ensure clarity on dependencies, deliverables, and success criteria for all Big Rocks. + **Strengthen planning and operational maturity** , improving estimation, dependency tracking, and execution discipline across engineering pillars. + **Drive consistent processes and best practices** that reduce delivery friction and increase transparency across multi-team initiatives. + **Represent program status and engineering perspectives** in leadership reviews, product planning, and cross-org forums. **Responsibilities** **Job Requirements:** + Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level. + Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands. + Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence. + Strong experience of software development process models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment. + Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues. + Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation. + Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership. + Ability to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures. + Work as a lead contributor individually, and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others as needed/requested. + Drive other obligations management duties, as needed. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar. + 8+ years of experience as hands-on technical project / program manager; preferably in a related industry. + Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development and experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 8+ years of project management, product design or related experience. + Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience + Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking. + Experience in the healthcare industry and / or electronic medical records systems. + Demonstrated knowledge of OCI or AWS, Azure, Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
