AR Associate
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AR Associate in Norwood, MA. Duties:
- AR Associate will serve as the primary point of contact for past-due account resolution
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on overdue balances
- Communicate with customers to obtain payment commitments and, when needed, arrange payment plans
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and disputed transactions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of collection activity in internal financial systems
- As an AR Associate, you will reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of outstanding variances
- Apply credit and collections policies consistently and escalate accounts as appropriate
- Generate and maintain regular aging and collection status reports for internal stakeholders
- Support month-end and periodic close activities related to accounts receivable
- Several years of experience in an accounts receivable or related financial role
- Familiarity with financial, accounting, or ERP systems
- Strong self-management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with standard business software, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
