About the Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a variety of healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist registered nurses and physicians in delivering comprehensive medical services to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities, all while maintaining a compassionate and supportive environment. This position requires strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in long-term care or rehabilitation.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and health status, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
