Requirements :
- TEFL or TESOL certification and/or
- Teaching degree and fluency in Spanish , Portuguese , or Haitian Creole .
General Qualifications :
- Candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education or special education.
- Experience teaching/tutoring English to English language learners is preferred.
- Candidate must be a native English speaker.
Additional Qualifications :
- Professional and personable demeanor and comfort interacting with Kindergarten-adult individuals of all backgrounds.
- Computer literacy/technologically savvy.
Time Commitment
- Mon.-Fri., daytime and after school hours. We offer a flexible schedule and ask for a minimum commitment of as few as four hours per week but could likely accommodate more if desired.
Location :
- This is a virtual position , but residency in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire is preferred.
Perks & Pay :
- $50 per hour (50-minute tutoring session and 10 minutes of prep time).
