Registered Nurse (RN) - Correctional Facility | Billerica, MA

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a respected correctional facility in Billerica, MA, currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time positions. Correctional or psychiatric experience is required.

Position Details:

• Location: Billerica, MA

• Facility Type: Correctional Facility

• Start Date: January 5th

• Duration: 6-month contract to start, with strong potential for extension

• Schedules: Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Pay: $60/hr local & $2,650 travel

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and assist with medical treatments

• Perform triage, risk assessments, and emergency first aid

• Apply surgical dressings and bandages

• Monitor and record vital signs

• Collect specimens for diagnostic testing

• Document care accurately and timely

• Report reactions to treatments and changes in patient condition

• Educate patients and assist with discharge planning

• Promote a therapeutic and professional environment

• Support physicians and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN license or proof of application

• Minimum 1 year of correctional healthcare or psychiatric experience

• Current CPR certification

• Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)
