Healthcare Accounting Specialist - Up to $80k/year

We are seeking a Healthcare Accounting Specialist to oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance within a well-established healthcare practice. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting billing processes, and assisting with HR-related administrative functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in healthcare finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and invoicing
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports for leadership
• Support HR-related tasks, including clinician credentialing, employee onboarding, and compliance with insurance and COBRA regulations

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of experience, OR 10+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience without a degree
• Previous healthcare or medical finance experience
• Hands-on background in claims processing and reconciliations
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (AP, AR, journal entries, credits/refunds, class tracking)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills
