Position is full time 40 hours a week, day shift, 4 day work week, rotating weekends and holidays.

Angell West is looking for experienced veterinary assistants or technicians for our ECC service. We have a $10,000 sign on bonus for new hire applicants who are credentialed veterinary technicians in the state of Massachusetts. This position provides a unique opportunity to practice in an intimate client-focused setting, but with numerous amenities from the larger MSPCA-Angell Boston hospital as support.

WHO WE ARE

MSPCA-Angell West, a non-profit 24-hour emergency and referral satellite hospital in the west suburbs of Boston, was opened in early 2014 by Angell Animal Medical Center. The hospital is over 17,000 square feet and is located 10 miles west of Boston in Waltham.

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS

We are looking for applicants who are reliable, independent and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. In addition we are looking for applicants with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and clients.

COMPENSATION:

Veterinary Assistants starting $24-$29/hour
Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $27-$33/hr
Please note that candidates with additional experience or credentials may be eligible for compensation aligned with their qualifications. We have a $10,000 for day shift for new hire full time Certified Veterinary Technicians in this department.
