Day Shift 6:30-3:00 PM
As a CBRE HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible formaintaining HVAC Systems, mechanical, electrical equipment for sophisticatedcommercial sites by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoingscheduled maintenance.
This job is part of the CBRE Engineering and TechnicalServices job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventivemaintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
Assign tasks to team members. Ensure all duties are done ina timely manner.
Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric orpneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, airconditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment, including calibration ofrelated instruments, gauges, and control components. Work on Chillers, AirHandling Units, Roof-Top units
Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVACequipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with allapplicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
Solve equipment failures and identify the best course ofaction for equipment modifications.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles andprocedures to accomplish sophisticated assignments and provide innovativesolutions.
Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job subjectarea and broad knowledge of several job subject areas within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent withCBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach anagreement.
Work within broad guidelines and policies.
Explain difficult or sensitive information.
What You'll Need:

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Leadership experience in a similar setting is beneficial.

Universal EPA 608 Certificate

Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and the ability to carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Inquisitive perspective with strong attention to detail.

Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
