Sales Support Specialist - Customer Success & Revenue Growth

Our client, a thriving food industry company in Lawrence, MA, is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service while driving sales opportunities and revenue growth. This full-time, on-site position (local candidates only) combines customer engagement excellence with proactive sales support.

What You'll Do

  • Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat using Zendesk CRM while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Proactively convert customer interactions into sales leads, track opportunities, and follow up to meet monthly revenue goals
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy while recommending products and services aligned to customer needs
  • Prepare monthly customer service reports and sales performance analytics, presenting trends and insights to leadership
  • Develop FAQs, knowledge base articles, and process improvements to enhance customer experience and sales efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on time-sensitive requests, manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving business priorities
  • Support the sales team with order processing, customer account management, and sales data tracking

What You Need

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in B2C environments with proven sales achievement or lead generation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and hands-on experience with Zendesk and e-commerce platforms
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) with expertise in active listening , relationship building , and consultative selling
  • Strong problem-solving abilities , attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset that transitions naturally to sales conversations
  • Ability to multitask , meet deadlines, and work independently in a team environment
  • Knowledge of and genuine interest in the food industry
