We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support its operations in handling the accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Receiving :

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy against packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Unload, label, and store incoming materials in designated locations.
• Notify appropriate personnel of discrepancies or damages.

1. Shipping :

• Prepare, pack, and label products for shipment according to customer specifications and shipping guidelines.
• Create shipping documentation, including bills of lading and shipping labels.
• Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

1. Inventory Management :

• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and receipts in the inventory management system.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy and report variances.

1. Quality Control :

• Ensure all outgoing and incoming products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Report and address any non-conformance issues promptly.

1. Operational Efficiency :

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.

1. Collaboration :

• Work closely with the production, purchasing, and quality teams to meet operational goals.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve shipping and receiving processes.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and shipping software.
• Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
