Position Overview

Autodesk is a global leader in design and make technology, providing innovative solutions for the architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, media, and entertainment industries. Our mission is to empower innovators everywhere to make the world a better place. By combining advanced technologies like AI, 3D printing, and robotics, we drive digital transformation and solve complex design and production challenges. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our Product Design & Manufacturing marketing team and leverage the power of our vibrant 1,000,000+ community of followers across social media to drive impact and growth.

The Social Media Manager for Autodesk Design and Manufacturing will support our team by managing our YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook channels and setting the broader social media marketing strategy. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the technical aptitude to grasp the basics of the Autodesk product design and manufacturing solutions and industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise social media management, a strong work ethic, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, message, and implement a consistent written and visual voice and tone for our Autodesk Design & Manufacturing social media channels

  • Curate and organize a consistent pipeline of user-generated Autodesk Fusion content for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Meta

  • Develop a community management strategy for YouTube that addresses customer feedback and pain points in a consistent, timely fashion

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from marketing, product, partnerships, and sales to create and implement high-performing organic social media campaigns

  • Serve as primary subject matter expert on emerging trends in social media, including but not limited to, impactful algorithm changes, new platforms, and the impact of LLMs on social media strategy

  • Manage and maintain the social media content intake queues and publishing calendars for Autodesk Design and Manufacturing social channels

  • Track and report on social media channel health to assess efficacy and areas for improvement

  • Support in organizing and promoting digital events, including but not limited to, webinars, social media livestreams, and giveaways or promotional offers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms for a B2B company

  • Strong understanding of social media best practices and platform-specific audience engagement

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Should be able to not only copy-edit the self but copy-edit the written work of others. Serve as quality control for all content published on the social media channels

  • Ability to create visually appealing content using basic graphic design tools if needed. An eye for what works is more important than being able to do it all yourself

  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • The ideal candidate is not only talented at organizing themselves, but creating organizational structure that is transparent and intuitive for others to navigate

  • Sufficient technical aptitude to understand and convey the basics of Autodesk product design and manufacturing solutions

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure, with shifting deadlines and by leveraging creativity and ingenuity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Sprout Social

  • Experience with basic video editing software such as Vimeo or Wistia. Adobe Creative Suite proficiency is a plus
