Autobody Technician

Job Summary: Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is seeking a highly skilled Autobody Technician to join our team. As a member of our Collision Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality repairs for our customers' vehicles. This is a full-time, salaried position with the opportunity for growth and competitive compensation. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for the auto industry. This is an individual contributor role where you will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact on our customers' satisfaction with their vehicle repairs.

• Pay range: $75,000 - $125,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and provide accurate estimates for customers
• Perform a wide range of collision repairs, including body work, panel replacement, painting, and more
• Repair and replace damaged mechanical, electrical, and interior components of vehicles
• Utilize advanced equipment and technology to ensure the highest quality repairs
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on repair progress and answer any questions or concerns
• Keep a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and constantly strive for excellence in quality and efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Autobody Technician
• Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, tools, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and estimates
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
