Accounting Manager POST NUMBER: 472799
Hybrid 3/2 Office Split
Can report into Boston office or South Shore office
$114-145k plus bonus
Key Responsibilities
Support periodic close activities (monthly, mid-year, and annual), including journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
Produce recurring financial reports and perform variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts; collaborate with stakeholders to understand underlying drivers
Oversee key account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit preparedness through cross-functional coordination
Research and resolve intercompany transactions while contributing to improvements in global financial processes
Assist with audit requirements by preparing supporting documentation, analyses, and schedules
Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing financial processes through automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements
Establish and maintain scalable internal controls to support organizational growth
Utilize ERP systems and data tools within a technology-driven finance environment
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline
Professional certification (e.g., CPA) or advanced degree (e.g., MBA)
Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or operational setting, including public accounting exposure
Strong analytical capabilities and solid understanding of accounting principles
Clear and effective communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms
5 years of accounting experience in global or complex organizational environments
Interest in leveraging systems, improving processes, and working with data
