Performance Marketing & Growth Manager (Meta + Google Ads)
We're seeking a data-driven PPC & Performance Marketing Specialist to own our paid acquisition strategy across Meta and Google.
Your primary objective is simple:
**Increase marketplace transactions and GMV.**
You'll manage advertising campaigns across multiple brands within our portfolio, with your primary focus on Pageant Planet. You'll be responsible for scaling profitable campaigns, improving conversion tracking, optimizing landing pages, and identifying new revenue opportunities across our marketplace.
This is not a "set up some ads and hope" role. We expect you to constantly test, analyze, and improve performance.
# What You'll Be Marketing
Pageant Planet is a multi-sided marketplace where users can:
* Purchase pageant entry fees
* Hire coaches
* Hire photographers
* Book hair & makeup artists
* Hire personal trainers
* Purchase dresses, shoes, jewelry, and accessories
* Purchase certifications and digital products
* Buy event tickets
* Register for People's Choice voting
* Discover pageants
In addition to Pageant Planet, you'll also support paid advertising efforts across other brands within our company portfolio.
# Key Responsibilities
* Plan, launch, manage, and optimize Meta advertising campaigns
* Manage Google Ads including Search, Shopping, Display, and Performance Max
* Increase marketplace GMV, not just traffic or clicks
* Improve ROAS, CAC, and overall campaign profitability
* Build and optimize Google Merchant Center product feeds
* Develop remarketing and customer lifecycle campaigns
* Improve GA4 tracking and attribution
* Configure and maintain Google Tag Manager
* Identify drop-off points in conversion funnels
* Work alongside our development team to improve landing page conversion rates
* Conduct ongoing A/B testing of creatives, headlines, landing pages, and offers
* Build dashboards and reports for campaign performance
* Identify new paid acquisition opportunities
* Recommend strategies to increase marketplace transactions and customer lifetime value
# Required Qualifications
* 5+ years managing Meta Ads
* 5+ years managing Google Ads
* Strong experience with Google Shopping
* Experience with Performance Max campaigns
* Strong understanding of GA4
* Experience using Google Tag Manager
* Experience with eCommerce businesses or online marketplaces
* Comfortable analyzing large amounts of performance data
* Strong understanding of attribution
* Experience optimizing landing pages
* Excellent written English
# Preferred Qualifications
* Marketplace experience (Etsy, Airbnb, Amazon Marketplace, Upwork, Fiverr, etc.)
* Experience with Shopify or WooCommerce
* Feed optimization experience
* Experience using Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or Contentsquare
* SQL or Looker Studio experience
* Experience with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
* Experience scaling accounts above $10,000/month in ad spend
# What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, we'd expect you to:
* Improve our Meta campaign performance
* Launch profitable Google Shopping campaigns
* Improve conversion tracking accuracy
* Build retargeting funnels
* Increase marketplace GMV
* Identify the highest ROI customer acquisition channels
* Present clear recommendations backed by data
Lastly, there are several brands inside of our portfolio. Whomever we hire will also be required to launch and monitor ads for those brands too on META and Google.
