NorthEast Electrical is looking for a full-time Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Amesbury, MA!

Shift: Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM

Salary Range: $22 to $24 per hour commensurate with experience, plus commission

Counter Sales Rep at NorthEast Electrical is the ideal position for a person who has a passion for taking care of customers. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will provide retail and professional customers with a high level of customer service; as well as maintaining the appearance of the store and ensuring it is displayed in a clean and organized manner.

What a typical day looks like in this role:

• Taking orders over the phone, in person, and via our Digital Tools.
• Entering stock, special, direct, and back orders as required.
• Providing customers with information and demonstration of our online solution for fast and easy ordering through our website.
• Providing support to the Branch Manager in the transferring, warehousing, receiving, and shipping of stock and special material.
• Display and stock material in counter and show room. Participate in promotions as they occur.
• Performing other duties as required or directed by Manager.

What we are looking for you to bring us:

• Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and Website navigation.
• Strong customer service/communication skills, electrical or construction is helpful.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
• Dependable and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work in a team setting
• The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75lbs using manual and PIT Equipment.
