Data Quality Specialist
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Data Quality Specialist. This role focuses on reviewing, validating, and maintaining accurate business data, identifying inconsistencies, performing data audits, updating databases, and supporting data integrity initiatives in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities
- Review and validate business data for accuracy and completeness
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and duplicate records
- Maintain and update databases with accurate information
- Perform routine data quality audits and reporting
- Monitor data integrity across multiple systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to correct data issues
- Prepare reports on data quality metrics and trends
- Document data quality procedures and best practices
- Support database cleanup and maintenance projects
- Ensure compliance with company data governance standards
- Assist with data migration and verification activities
- Perform additional data quality and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in data entry, data management, administrative support, customer service, or related roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Excel
- Basic knowledge of databases and data management concepts
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
