We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will oversee the administration and maintenance of key systems and technologies, ensuring optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft technologies, virtualization platforms, and networking solutions.
Responsibilities:• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 cloud products and services, ensuring seamless operation and user support.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory environments, including user management and group policy configurations.
• Oversee VMware and Windows server systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Maintain and optimize storage solutions, ensuring data availability and system integrity.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking components such as switches, firewalls, access points, and circuits.
• Implement and enforce security protocols across systems to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute system upgrades and maintenance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users, resolving system-related issues efficiently.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems and processes.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues or inefficiencies.• Proficiency in Active Directory management and configuration.
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with Windows 10 and support methodologies.
• Expertise in Dell Technologies hardware and solutions.
• Knowledge of Citrix Technologies and associated systems.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Experience with VMware virtualization platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
