Job Title: RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Float Pool)

Location: Hyannis, MA

Schedule:

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3x12-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry (Float Pool) to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining compliance with clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Serve as charge nurse when required
• Follow safety and infection control protocols
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred (required for cardiac unit)
• Must complete pharmacology and arrhythmia exams prior to start
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting
• Telemetry experience required
• Experience with cardiac patients preferred
• Flexibility to float across units required

Additional Details

• Start Date: June 15, 2026 (tentative)
• Floating required
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• Exposure to multiple specialty units including cardiac, oncology, surgical, dialysis, ortho, and neuro units
