Location: Sanctuary Cannabis (Sanctuary Medicinals) - Woburn, MA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Sanctuary is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our busy co-located cannabis store in Woburn, MA. We are looking for a dedicated leader with a passion for the cannabis industry, a strong operational mindset, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences while ensuring full compliance with state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and profitability.

Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team of budtenders, shift supervisors, and support staff.

Ensure compliance with all Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations and company policies.

Manage inventory, both cannabis and non-cannabis and track product sell-through rates and performance.

Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere.

Analyze sales trends and financial reports to drive business growth and achieve performance targets.

Work closely with corporate leadership to implement strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a professional and solutions-oriented manner.

Oversee security, safety protocols, and loss prevention measures.

Qualifications:

3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in the cannabis, hospitality, or high-volume retail industry.

Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and performance management.

Knowledge of Massachusetts cannabis laws and regulations (preferred but not required).

Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management, and retail sales reporting.

Proficiency in verbal and written communication.

Skilled in Microsoft Office.

Must be 21+ and able to pass all required background checks per state regulations.
