Position Summary
The Life Sciences Solutions Leader/SME has full lifecycle ownership of the architecture and design of the Life Sciences offering, with a primary emphasis on scoping, solution framework, integrity, credibility, and delivery. As the technical SME for Life Sciences initiatives, you will evaluate new and existing opportunities, support day-to-day client meetings by demonstrating solutions, capabilities, and support Oxford in establishing technical competency with customers. You will provide Client advisory support, driving Client adoption and scale Life Sciences solutions successfully. While the Life Sciences SME sets direction and maintains methodological authority, they lead and rely on the Sales Leader to activate pipeline, orchestrate pursuits, and drive adoption across the field. Together, they ensure the offering maintains both market relevance and delivery confidence.

- Maintain a distinctive, evidence-based POV for Oxford’s Life Sciences solution area.
- Ensure repeatable frameworks and methodologies are activated broadly.
- Direct the Sales Leader to build disciplined pipeline momentum.
- Safeguard delivery integrity across early-stage deployments.
- Expand Life Sciences relevance across Oxford’s full portfolio.
- Educate the business regarding Life Sciences capabilities, while staying current with trends & market insights.
- Ensure solutions adhere to applicable regulatory and compliance standards.
- Act as Life Sciences SME to lead the creation of best practices, identify gaps, create marketing materials, new wins, case studies, white papers, and leading workshops.
Additional Responsibilities
- Set and drive technical solution selling strategies across primarily the Pharmaceutical and Biotech/Biopharm industries with solutions related to: R&D, Formulation, CMC, Facilities Expansion, CQV, CSV/DI, Clinical Ops, QMS, Pharmaceutical and Biotech Regulations and Standards, and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
- Develop proposals, RFP responses, SOWs, and drive scoping efforts for Professional Services opportunities.
- Develop and retain relationships with Associate Vendors, PMs, and SME consultants to win more opportunities.
- Direct Sales Leader on how assets should be positioned externally.
- Act as a visible subject matter expert and trusted advisor in Life Sciences related domains.
- Represent Oxford at events, panels, or publications as authority in Life Sciences.
- Develop end-to-end solution architectures aligned with client objectives.

Education
Experience
- BS/MS in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline
- Proven expertise in multiple core areas: QA, QC, QE, Validation, QMS, Facilities/Engineering Quality
- Experience with Program and Project Management.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate strategies, approaches, and integration strategies.
- 5+ years in Life Sciences Leadership roles.
- 10+ years in delivery-led SME leadership roles.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to convert expertise into scalable frameworks.
- Experience guiding sales teams or pursuits from an SME vantage point.
- Strong articulation of ROI and technical-to-executive translation.
