Zeiss Calypso CMM Programmer (Aerospace)

Boulevard Machine has crafted precise, complex aerospace components for more than 70 years from our facility in Westfield, MA. In our team-driven environment, you’ll apply your metrology expertise on state-of-the-art equipment while contributing to short-run aerospace programs in a fast-paced setting.

We’re looking for a CMM expert who can both program and operate Zeiss systems using Calypso, collaborate across production teams, and uphold rigorous AS9100/ISO9001 standards.

A day in the life

• Review ballooned customer drawings and purchase orders; decode GD&T to build clear inspection strategies.
• Create robust Zeiss Calypso programs and write step-by-step setup instructions for First Piece, In-Process, and Final inspections.
• Run proven programs on Zeiss CMMs, validating results and ensuring conformity from first article through final release.
• Partner with Machine Operators, Programming, and Management to drive acceptable product and swift problem resolution.
• Correlate CMM results with hand/plate inspection using micrometers, indicators, and height gages.
• Execute within AS9100/ISO9001: documentation accuracy, revision control, traceability, and lot control.
• Tackle other related tasks that keep quality moving.

What you bring

• 3+ years as a CMM Programmer/Operator, specifically with Zeiss Calypso.
• Proficiency with AS9100 quality systems.
• Strong collaboration skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
• Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds.
• Full-time availability.
