Audit Staff
Kforce's client, a well-established public accounting firm, is seeking an Audit Staff professional to join its growing team. This role offers exposure to a diverse client base across multiple industries and strong opportunities for professional growth. The client offers salary and health benefits, vision, dental and other company perks. This position will function as hybrid in Qunicy, MA. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare audit confirmations, track responses, and follow up as needed
- Execute audit procedures in accordance with engagement plans and firm standards
- Test transactions and perform detailed sampling across audit areas
- Maintain audit documentation, including workpapers, checklists, and audit programs
- Perform analytical reviews and investigate variances
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and management comments
- Communicate audit progress and escalate issues to senior team members
- Build strong client relationships and support engagement teams
- CPA certification or active license or working on certification
- 2+ years of audit experience with a public accounting firm
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
