Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Shift Options:

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate:

• Local: $2,100 weekly
• Travel: $2,500 weekly

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Radiation Therapist for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments per physician directives

• Educate and support patients throughout their treatment process

• Assist physicians during simulation and treatment planning sessions

• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation

• Perform daily machine warm-ups, calibration checks, and report malfunctions

• Schedule patients using electronic systems

• Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and physicians

• Calculate radiation doses as needed

• Monitor patients for treatment reactions and report concerns promptly

• Reinforce instructions for managing treatment-related side effects

• Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols

• Support and guide radiation therapy students when applicable

• Maintain daily billing accuracy

• Organize patient schedules, films, and treatment records

• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

• Assist with implant procedures and maintain safety documentation

• Complete required continuing education

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program — Required

• Massachusetts Radiation Therapy Technologist License — Required

• A.R.R.T. Registration (within one year of graduation acceptable) — Required

• Current CPR Certification — Required
