Responsibilities
- Collaborate with surgeon, anesthesiologist, and surgical team to ensure patient safety during procedures
- Maintain sterile fields, prepare supplies and instrumentation, and perform counts (sponges, needles, instruments) per policy
- Verify patient identity, approved procedure, and site before transport to the operating room
- Administer medications and IV therapy per orders; monitor pain and respond to changes in patient status
- Document care and patient responses thoroughly; provide timely reports to the surgical team and participate in post-operative handoffs and discharge planning as appropriate

Requirements
- Active MA RN license
- ACLS required on hire; or active BLS with ACLS to be obtained within 60 days of hire
- Recent OR experience required; CNOR preferred
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
- Must take call per unit rotation
- Ability to work in a hospital OR setting
