Sales Associate (Mission Specialist)

Pluto is an new cannabis company based in Lynn, Massachusetts. We're redefining the experience for customers interested in recreational marijuana. Pluto sources the highest quality cannabis products and provides a unique experience through tailored recommendations for customers. As the only cannabis dispensary located in the downtown Lynn area, Pluto serves a wide range of clientele in our space-themed retail dispensary.

As a Mission Specialist (Sales Associate), you will be assigned to “mission locations” which can entail Pluto's Security Station (checking ID's at security booth), Pluto's Surface (assisting customers and processing payments on the retail floor), and the Operations Center (inventory fulfillment and order management in the vault). Mission Specialists are generally expected to engage with customers and maintain the sales floor.

Mission Specialists have…

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer and information technology skills
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours
• Adherence to all policies, rules, regulations
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check

Though not required, it's a bonus if you have…

• Previous experience working in the cannabis industry
• Previous experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system
• Working knowledge of Cannabis products (flower, edibles, vape cartridges, topical lotions, tinctures, rso, etc.).
