Travel Surgical Tech Job Details

• Location: Concord, MA 01742 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Hospital – Operating Room (OR)
• Assignment Type: Travel Surgical Technologist
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: November 22, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirement: Rotating call (one day every other week and one weekend call shift per month, subject to unit needs)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1800 - $1840
• Hourly Pay Rates: $80/hour for travelers, $72/hour for local candidates

Surgical Tech Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital operating room
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NBSTSA certification required (Certified Surgical Technologist – CST)
• Ability to participate in rotating call schedule
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Surgical Technologist Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical equipment and supplies are sterile and ready
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operations
• Maintain a sterile field and follow strict infection control protocols
• Handle surgical instruments and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
• Participate in rotating call assignments as scheduled
• Support patient safety and provide compassionate clinical care throughout the surgical process
