COTA Job Details

• End Date: October 29, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shifts
• Shift Length: 12 Hour Days
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
• No On-Call Required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1170–$1200 per week

COTA Qualifications

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a COTA (new graduates welcome)
• Rehabilitation Therapy certification
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
• COVID-19 test required within 72 hours prior to start; results available 48 hours before starting
• Completion of 8 hours of Dementia Training
• Successful completion of background checks and credentialing (state license verification, references, criminal background checks, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assistant services to patients in a hospital environment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records per hospital policies
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and strategies for ongoing progress
