About the Role

As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to help implement individualized instructional and behavioral programs designed to meet students’ unique needs. Candidates who are patient, team-oriented, and passionate about student growth are encouraged to apply.

Schedule & Compensation

* Summer School 2026 Schedule: Monday through Thursday during summer school hours (part-time)
* 2026/2027 School Year Schedule: Monday through Friday during regular school hours (full-time)
* Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and education
* Weekly pay
* Opportunities for continued long-term placement throughout the school year

Key Responsibilities

* Support teachers in implementing instructional and behavioral programs based on student needs
* Provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support to individual students and small groups
* Assist students with developing and generalizing social, emotional, and academic skills throughout the school day
* Help maintain a structured, positive, and supportive classroom environment
* Encourage student engagement, independence, and confidence
* Maintain open communication with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and behavioral goals

What We’re Looking For

* Experience working with children in a classroom or school-based setting
* Experience supporting students with Special Needs and/or Social Emotional Behavioral challenges preferred
* Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain patient, flexible, and supportive in a fast-paced environment
* Passion for helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally
