Travel Registered Nurse Unit Manager Job
Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Unit Manager to oversee daily nursing operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and provide leadership to nursing staff. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and management skills to maintain efficiency and compliance within the healthcare unit.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff, schedules, and daily operations within the unit
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations related to patient care and documentation
- Monitor and evaluate patient care plans, interventions, and outcomes
- Act as a liaison between nurses, physicians, patients, and families to ensure seamless communication
- Oversee staff training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Address patient concerns, incidents, and complaints , ensuring timely resolution
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards
- Maintain accurate records of staffing, patient care metrics, and compliance audits
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of healthcare policies, regulations, and best practices
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills
