Key Responsibilities
- Nail Services: Perform manicures, pedicures, filling, buffing, and shaping of nails.
- Enhancements: Apply, maintain, and remove artificial nails, including acrylics, gels, and dip powders.
- Hygiene & Safety: Sanitize all instruments, tools, and workstations according to industry regulations.
- Consultation: Advise clients on nail health, services, and product aftercare.
- Client Management: Build client relationships
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Licensure: Active state-issued nail technician or cosmetology license.
- Technical Skill: Proficiency in nail techniques, tools, and materials.
- Customer Service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of creativity and precision in design and application.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on clients
Job Scope
- Workplace: Nail salons, spas, or beauty salons.
- Schedule: Require evenings and weekends
- Compensation: Commission and tips
Qualifications
- Completion of a state-approved cosmetology or nail technician program.
