Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer assigned to the Data Services team, you will be expected to have experience and comfort in supporting internal business applications and improving automated processes across a wide array of use cases—ranging from backend database development using C#, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server, to frontend application development. Additionally, hands-on experience with data pipelines is essential for managing data flows, streamlining data integration, and ensuring high data quality across systems.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Develop, support, maintain, and enhance custom in-house business applications and web-based portals
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and investigate reported issues
  • Collaborate closely with other departments and areas to help improve applications and processes
  • Participate in requirements collection, analysis, definition, and documentation activities
  • Learn something new every day and make a hands-on difference for “real” end-users
  • Document technical processes and communicate with multiple people of various technical levels
Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

  • 3+ years C# programming experience in fast-paced environment with flexible project requirements
  • 1-3 years developing in ASP.Net
  • 1-3 years working in SQL Server, including troubleshooting and modifying stored procedures
  • Healthcare industry experience is a must
  • Experience with SSRS and Python are helpful
  • Experience with coding standards, version control, etc.
  • Experience digging into and understanding complex problems with limited information and/or guidance
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication skills and ability to work with end-users to help them be more effective

WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other analytical discipline), or equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of healthcare concepts (i.e. claims, eligibility, providers, members, diagnosis codes)
  • Experience building end-to-end data-based processes with loose and flexible requirements

Additional Information

The salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year.

COMPENSATION:

The listed compensation range listed is paid bi-weekly per our standard payroll practices. Final base pay decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.

This position is responsible for following all Security policies and procedures in order to protect all PHI and PII under Guidehealth’s custodianship as well as Guidehealth Intellectual Properties. For any security-specific roles, the responsibilities would be further defined by the hiring manager.

REMOTE WORK TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Guidehealth is a fully remote company. We provide new employees with the necessary equipment to function in their role at no charge to the employee. Employees provide their own internet connection, capable of conducting video calls on camera and connecting to various internal and external systems. The required internet speed is a minimum of 50 mbps download, 10 mbps upload.
