Plant Manager for Machine Shop - $165K (Direct Hire)
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities;
- Responsible for the manufacturing operations at the company
- Managing a team of department managers
- Focusing on accountability, continuous improvement and collaboration across all manufacturing functions
- Developing and implementing operational strategies to optimize production efficiency, quality standards and safety protocols
- Managing projects including scope, schedule, budget and vendor relationships
- Identifying, evaluating and managing future investment initiative
- CNC machine shop production to optimize processes, troubleshoot issues and drive improvements for efficiency
- Following safety regulations and environmental standards
- Establishing, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators focusing on safety, quality and on-time delivery
- Identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
- Working with management and human resources on staffing, budgeting and financial performance
- Working with the sales department to align production capabilities with customer demand and marketing opportunities
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years previous leadership experience in manufacturing environment
- At least five years in a managerial role overseeing multiple departments
- Experience in CNC machine shop production
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, operations management or other related field is preferred
Hours:
Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
The salary is up to $165K a year based on experience
